Well it is not just the forums, there hasn't been much new to do in SC in a while. Recruiting during this time is pointless as everyone is off doing their own thing anyways. When SC has more content, we will resume at some point. Just remember, we are trying to stay a small, tight-knit group. Plus, people are pretty active on Discord anyhow, so that does well for the time being. It's a good move, for all

Funny thing, I have both of the ships you mentioned as well, Herald and Terrapin. Ghost and Delta in melt shop. Subconsciously must be telling myself something... "Strat/Recon...Sneak&Peak" must be my calling for tactical engagements.

I have it too, lots of fun but very difficult to get used to the eva/flight. more realistic than sc as there is no IFCS .

Away camping this weekend but will play when I get back if people are on

Love the interaction with consoles and systems. I can imagine how they will be with SC after playing this.

Voice Server/ Network Provider Migration - OCT 17, 18,19

Due to ongoing DDOS related problems with our upstream mitigation providers we are working to migrate our network to a more cloud-based system to ensure less frequently large-scale problems. We will be performing these changes on OCT 17-19.

We will provide more details as they are available. There will be numerous IP changes as a result of this migration and we will work with all customers to ensure a smooth transition. We apologize for the short notice as many parts of this migration are contingent upon upstream providers. We do anticipate that all customers will have their ips changed and that their servers may be offline between 10-to-30 minutes during the migration.

The migration will affect TS3, Mumble and Ventrilo hosted in the US-East, US-West, US-Central, European and Australian regions.

We appreciate your time and apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this will cause to you while we attempt to stabilize our network from the recent and very large uptick in ddos-attack related issues. We will be posting more information as we have ithere.

I did pass on that one since I wanted to keep my Phonix and I guess it is good when we can have a diverse fleet and of cause need a party boat in style hehe! For the smaller event hehe.

I'm betting that they go with something deliberate, controlled and centralized, such as ship ports that rigidly conform to only specific models in specific ports. There is just so much freedom in "it fits it sits" to be comprehensible in this game. Think of the creativity you could have with all sorts of spaces in various ships. Might be "too much" creativity for them and become unbalanced?

Kal, I am thinking that the Carrack is going to be one hell of a ship. Probably much bigger, given their track record, and possible, quite possibly, configurable as an EWAR ship or possible a scout/comms "corvette". At any rate, I have one that you are welcome to try out, once we get into the 'verse should you decide to delay your pledge for one.
